1. Strictly necessary cookies

• sb-access-token and sb-refresh-token keep you signed in to your desk. They are set by our authentication provider and expire when the session does.

2. Browser storage

Two values are kept in your browser rather than as cookies, and never leave the device:

• borrowdocs.prefs in localStorage, holding the notification toggles and density you chose in Settings.
• borrowdocs.greeted in sessionStorage, so the welcome message appears once per session rather than on every page view.

3. What we do not use

• No advertising or retargeting cookies.
• No third-party analytics or session recording.
• No social media tracking pixels.
• No cross-site profiling of any kind.

4. Controlling cookies

Every browser lets you block or delete cookies. Blocking the two authentication cookies will prevent you from staying signed in, because they are the mechanism that keeps the session alive. Clearing local storage resets your preferences to their defaults and nothing else.
